PDHS is thrilled to announce that Eddie Hamilton will take on the Head Boys Basketball Coach role. This opportunity holds special significance for Coach Hamilton as he looks to honor his mentor and friend, Coach David Bryant.
Our program under Coach Hamilton's leadership will prioritize values such as trust, respect, and unity to foster a cohesive team environment. He is deeply committed to carrying forward Coach Bryant's legacy with the utmost respect for his family members.
Coach Hamilton is excited about the prospect of working with the talented students, dedicated staff, and supportive community at Plain Dealing High School. Together, we strive for excellence both on and off the basketball court.
Plain Dealing High School is thrilled to welcome Kristin Tolar as the new K-12 Instructional Coach. With fifteen years of teaching experience in various education settings, Mrs. Tolar brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our school community. We are excited about the opportunities she will bring for professional growth and development for both our teachers and students alike.

🦸♀️Fuel your summer superhero with free, nutritious meals that Bossier Schools will be offering weekly starting June 11 at four drive-through sites. 🦸♂️
Any child 18 years of age and younger is eligible. Each box will contain seven shelf-stable breakfasts and lunches.
Parents or guardians will need to complete a registration form for each child. Simply scan the QR code on the graphic or visit http://bit.ly/4bIbKjf to register.
Once registration is complete, meal boxes can be picked up between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. every Tuesday until July 30 at either Benton Middle, Haughton Middle, W.T. Lewis Elementary or Parkway High School.

Being chosen as cheerleader of the week or biweek is quite an honor. She is selected by her fellow cheerleaders and sponsors for outstanding effort, teamwork, and going above and beyond. Our tiny cheerleader, Lily, goes home with the cheerleader of the week or two weeks. Congrats to our first 2 cheerleaders of the week, Zakira Lewis & Adrielle Manning.

Mr. Jason Edwards has been named the new principal of Plain Dealing High School, bringing with him 21 years of experience in education. Starting as a mathematics teacher, he has served as an assistant principal at Benton High School for the past nine years. Mr. Edwards is committed to serving the Plain Dealing community and ensuring all students thrive with Lion Pride.
