We want to provide you with an update to our Attendance Policy. Platt will now be able to accept a parent note submitted for your child's absence. Parents may submit a parent note on the official template for an absence to be approved. The official note is located on our school website or in our front office. Notes must be submitted within 5 days after the student returns to school. Notes after 5 days will remain unexcused. A maximum of 5 days per academic year can be excused with parent notes. Parent notes cannot be split into partial days. Any note submitted for an early dismissal or late check-in counts as a full day towards the 5 day annual limit.
You can find the official template here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1l7khvpATNUFLPQtMB8Rx2J8k04Bk2nIbT-MPwqBsRpQ/edit?usp=sharing
The last day to purchase is August 28.
