Hey Platt Families! Are you ready to kick off the 2026-2027 season? We are hosting our a Tailgating with the Teachers event, and you won't want to miss it!

Here is everything you need to know before kickoff:

🗓️ WHEN: Thursday, July 23rd from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
📍 WHERE: Platt’s Playground

🎨 THE COLOR CHALLENGE:
We're splitting into teams by grade level for some friendly school spirit! Make sure your students show up in their team colors:
💙 2nd Graders: Wear your BLUE shirts!
❤️ 3rd Graders: Wear your RED shirts!

🏆 THE GAME PLAN:
Get ready to play some fantastic yard games, win awesome prizes, and enjoy plenty of delicious popcorn for everyone!

Plus, your students will get an official "Lineup Card" when they arrive. They can complete a signature scavenger hunt by meeting their teachers and coaches to score a special prize before heading home! 🎁

We are so excited to kick off a great year together!

If you are picking up your summer meal boxes at HMS, please note there has been a small delay in the delivery. The boxes should arrive at HMS at 7:45 am. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Come and enjoy popsicles with the principals on Monday, June 8. Mrs. Sanchez and Mrs. Breedlove are excited to see our Cowboys. Please park in the side parking lot and join us on the playground.

Parents may not drop of their students for this event. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Our event will last from 6 pm to 7 pm.
